AP/AR Manager

Job Description
Our client, a distinguished global manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced AP/AR Manager to join their team on a direct hire basis that is five days a week on site. Day to Day Overview:
• Management of accounts payable functions for the US and Canada
• Reconcile accounts payable total and general ledger
• Oversee purchasing card and T&E program through Concur
• Management of accounts receivable functions in US
• Familiarity with and knowledge of SAP is a must
• Ensures employer identification numbers and required documents have been collected for all vendors for 1099 submissions
• Assures that purchasing and receiving documents are properly matched and vendor invoices and expense vouchers are processed and paid in a timely fashion
Job Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5 years’ accounts payable experience with some accounts receivable experience
• Experience with SAP is a must
• Experience in manufacturing is highly preferred
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the company
