Day to Day Overview
• General Ledger management and maintenance
• Account reconciliation and variance analysis
• Supervise staff; A/R, A/P, Payroll, and Inventory Control Staff
• Manage and perform the close process and financial statement preparation and analysis
• Assist in budget preparation
• Assist in audits
• Government surveys
• Support of manufacturing through the design and implementation of policies and procedures
• Improvement of processes
• Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
• BS Accounting or Finance
• 5-8 years progressive accounting experience
• Experience managing accounting functions in a manufacturing environment
• Strong computer skills, particularly Sage 100, Ceridian, and MS Office Suite.
• Cost accounting experience a plus
• Crystal reporting a plus
• CPA/prior public accounting experience/MBA a plus
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
