Day to Day Overview:
• Assist in the preparation of tax & various filing documentation
• Assist Accounting Manager, VP of Finance and CFO with various projects and initiatives
• Prepare, analyze and distribute monthly Time, AR, Billing and Revenue reports
• Deposit checks daily. Process and post client payments to the accounting system (LMS). Correspond directly with clients regarding missing payment information, duplicate payments, discounts, payment plans, etc.
• Process client credit card payments
• Deposit and post escrow retainer checks as well as draft outgoing checks
Job Requirements
- Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills
Polite and professional demeanor working with clients and co-workers
Previous legal industry experience
Ability to work both independently, and collaboratively, as part of a team
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Proactive and self-starting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills a must
Experience with SurePoint LMS a plus, but not required
