Job Description

Aspire Staffing Group is seeking an Audit Associate for a dynamic and growing CPA firm in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves performing audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profits. The ideal candidate will enhance their auditing knowledge and skills while supporting senior audit professionals and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Perform audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse client base.
  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the direction of senior audit professionals.
  • Conduct internal control testing and substantive audit procedures.
  • Prepare audit workpapers and documentation in accordance with firm and professional standards.
  • Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and senior audit staff.
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses and industries.
  • Maintain organized and accurate audit files and documentation.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • 1-3 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm or related environment.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
