Aspire Staffing Group is seeking an Audit Manager for a reputable CPA firm in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves leading and managing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and providing high-quality audit and assurance services to clients. The ideal candidate will mentor junior staff, develop client relationships, and contribute to the firm's growth and success.

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements for a variety of clients, including planning, execution, and completion stages.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  • Review and assess internal controls, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact.
  • Prepare and review audit reports and other deliverables.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Assist with business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification required.
  • 5+ years of audit experience in a public accounting firm or related environment.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage audit teams.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
