This role involves leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with audit standards, and mentoring junior staff. Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion for a variety of clients.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and internal controls.
  • Prepare audit reports and present findings to clients.
  • Mentor and train junior audit staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in auditing standards.
  • Maintain organized and accurate audit documentation.
  • Participate in firm initiatives and business development activities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm or related environment.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
