Benefits Manager role with competitive salary of 90K-100K. Ideal position for motivated candidates looking to advance their career and take on leadership responsibilities.

The Benefits Manager is responsible for the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability and 401(k). This role manages vendor relationships and is responsible for making benefits recommendations and implementations.

Essential duties and Responsibilities
-Manages daily administration of all benefits and retirement plans, between carriers and employees
-Data entry into payroll, benefits carrier sites
-Conducts onboarding and hiring programs
-Assists with benefits claims and employee questions along with distribution of benefits packages
-Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, FMLA and worker’s compensation
-Tasked with answering to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. Manages the annual catch-up contribution enrollment; calculates and processes Personal Retirement Plan contributions as well as pension plans.
- Create an exceptional employee experience and highlight benefits packages
- Maintains a high level of contact and visibility with employees at all levels to uphold a respectful and trusting relationship. Serve as an advocate for multiple stakeholders to ensure a fair and comprehensive assessment of perspectives and options.
-Complies with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and requirements as well as company policies.

Job Requirements

Requirements
-Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in HR, with a minimum 5 years of experience in similar or related field, or any equivalent relevant combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
-Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws, including ERISA, COBRA, PPACA, HIPAA
-ADP Workforce Now experience
-Experience with handling sensitive and confidential information
