Aspire Staffing Group is assisting our client, a well know services company located in the King of Prussia, PA area with their search for a Controller. The ideal candidate will be a strong, ethical and honest person who will take pride in the work they do for the company. The candidate will provide comprehensive financial updates on a timely basis and will supervise a staff of 4 people.

Pay Rate:
$120,000 - $130,000 dependent on experience

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Issue timely and complete financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report
• Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
• Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
• Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
• Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
• Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
• Process payroll in a timely manner
• Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
• Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
• Maintain the chart of accounts
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
• At least 10+ years of progressive experience
• CPA certification preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Excel and Quickbooks
• Must be vaccinated for COVID and the flu
