Credit and Collections Manager
Job Description
Are you an experienced Credit and Collections professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a talented Credit and Collections Manager to lead our team in evaluating credit risk, setting credit limits, and ensuring timely collections. In this role, you'll develop and implement strategies to optimize our credit processes, reduce bad debt, and maintain positive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess creditworthiness of clients by analyzing financial statements and credit reports.
• Set and maintain credit limits and terms based on risk assessments.
• Oversee collections to ensure timely payments and minimize overdue accounts.
• Prepare and present reports on accounts receivable and collections activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to resolve disputes and enhance client relationships.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in credit and collections.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., FDCPA).
Preferred:
• Professional certification (CCE, CCRA).
• Experience in the Telecommunications industry.
