HR Representative/Recruiter

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure accuracy of job descriptions.
• Pre-screen applicants for vacant positions and refer qualified applicants to program management staff as appropriate and follow up to keep applicants engaged.
• Accurately and efficiently complete hiring and on-boarding processes.
• Monitor advertisement placement and responses. Prepare relevant reports as needed.
• Under the direction of the HR Manager, respond to unemployment compensation inquiries.
• Assist HR Manager in developing and coaching supervisor on interviewing techniques.
• Ensure sufficient acquisition of personnel in assigned areas according to Agency guidelines and all employment laws. Maintain a pool of qualified candidates for agency positions.
• Monitor changes in staffing patterns to modify recruitment and manpower development by HR Managers as directed. Participate in agency wide recruitment plan development.
• Assist HR Manager with employee relations support involving new hire performance issues.
• Monitor new hire compliance with applicable legal and credentialing requirements and conduct follow-up as needed.
• Facilitate various supervisory training.
• Maintain open communication with HR Managers keeping them informed of recruitment efforts in their area of responsibility.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn employment laws and regulations.
• Flexibility to work with changing priorities, people, rules and program needs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and be available for regional travel.
• Bachelor's degree in Personnel Management, Business or Public Administration
