Job Description

A global company with offices in Reading, PA is looking for a Leave Administrator to join their team. Your main functions will be to be the point person and subject matter expert for the leave options and tracking, but you will also be working with Benefits reporting similar responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience with leave administration in different states across the country.

This role is 3 days on site and pays $70,000 - $82,000/yr.

The Day-to-Day (Job Duties and Responsibilities)
• Working closely with the HRBPs and employees across the country, you will answer questions and address concerns dealing with various types of leaves
• Keep accurate and detailed record of communication
• Initiate FMLA, ADA, Leave of Absence, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and other types of leave
• Counsel employees on leave options based on their situational circumstances. Prepares leave paperwork and ensures medical certifications and return to work paperwork is received by the deadline
• Be an active partner in creating and delivering communications, training, and resource materials for employees and managers
• Ensure company compliance with provisions of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA, and other federal and local regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Run weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

Job Requirements

How You’re a Great Fit (Education and Experience)
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of Leave Administration experience
• Prior experience with HR, Payroll, and/or Benefits systems
• MS Office
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, State Leave guidelines
• Knowledge of HR, state, and federal employment law

Strongly Preferred:
• State leave experience strongly preferred (Washington, California, Connecticut, NY, NJ)
• CLMS Certification
• PHR Certification
• Knowledge of SAP cloud applications is highly desirable but not required.
• Knowledge of Kronos Time & Attendance, and SAP Employee Central Payroll is highly desirable but not required

Interview process
After a phone screen with an Aspire recruiter, applicants who are a good fit for the role will interview with the hiring manager, followed by an on-site interview with an HR Manager and a Director.
