Day to Day Overview:
• The ideal candidate will have prior experience generating all purchase orders for raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies
• Procurement and inventory management
• Prioritized, timely, and accurate execution of purchase orders
• Identify cost savings initiatives
• Develop and strengthen relationships with preferred suppliers
• Support accounts payable in rectifying unmatched invoices
• Support the management team with regard to issue resolution with suppliers
• Support finance and administration team to drive continuous process improvement
• Provide analytical insights for purchasing contracts and/or buying programs to attain the best overall value for every purchase

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-4 years of work experience as a purchasing agent.
• Demonstrated understanding of negotiation principles w/ability to develop and manage supplier relationships.
• Must have strong customer service skills and proven ability to effectively work with all levels of management.
• Experience with electronic component procurement, subcontract manufacturer assembly services, plumbing component procurement a plus.
• High proficiency levels with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
• Technology aptitude and ability to learn new IT systems and processes quickly.
• Past experience with ERP and/or procurement systems is a plus
