Position: Senior Financial Analyst (Cost Accounting)
Location: Eastern Montgomery County
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire (On-Site)

Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in cost accounting to become a pivotal member of their high-performing Accounting and Finance team. This role is an on-site opportunity which offers the chance to contribute to a leading organization.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Cost Accounting Oversight: Establish and actively review cost accounting activities to ensure precise cost allocation and accurate reporting. Participate in the monthly accounting close processes related to Revenue and Cost of Goods.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed analyses and reports on Revenue and Cost of Goods for management to support decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to align revenue and cost accounting with overall financial goals and ensure integrated financial planning.
• Cycle Count Management: Manage, review, and enhance the routine cycle count process to ensure inventory accuracy and cost control.
• Manufacturing Process Insight: Work closely with the Operations team to understand manufacturing processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Production Cost Analysis: Analyze production costs and provide recommendations for process improvements to optimize cost efficiency.
• Monthly Close Support: Assist and support the accounting team during the monthly close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Education: Degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role within a manufacturing environment.
• Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in the manufacturing industry is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
