Aspire Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant for a dynamic and growing CPA firm in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves leading the preparation and review of complex tax returns, providing strategic tax planning and research, and mentoring junior tax professionals. The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profits, leveraging their expertise to provide exceptional tax solutions and guidance.

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations.
  • Lead the preparation of tax provisions and other tax-related financial reporting.
  • Conduct advanced tax research and stay current on tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax-saving strategies and identify potential tax risks for clients.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior tax professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with IRS and state tax audits, including gathering documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Ensure organized and accurate tax files and documentation.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA highly preferred.
  • 4-6 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or related environment.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
