Job Description
Aspire Staffing Group is hiring for a Transportation Logistics Manager role for a supply chain management business in the Newtown, PA area. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your skill set and career.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Oversee the entire order fulfillment process from procurement to delivery.
-Oversee domestic transportation nationally, incoming & outgoing supply chain goods are being transported in a efficient & timely manner
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
• Implement inventory management systems to track stock levels accurately.
• Coordinate shipments to optimize routes and minimize costs.
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining product quality.
• Proactively identify and address issues that may arise in the logistics process.
• Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff.
• Set clear performance targets in terms of cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and other quality management standards.
Job Requirements
Requirements
• BS in Business Administration
-Chemical supply chain experience is a must
• 3+ years of logistics management experience
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
